President-elect John Dramani Mahama has warned prospective appointees in his incoming government to be prepared for hard work, advising those unwilling to make sacrifices for the country to remain in the private sector.
During a courtesy visit by Chief Imam Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu and his delegation on December 12, Mahama emphasized that Ghanaians expect strong, accountable leadership. He stressed that complacency or lack of productivity would not be tolerated.
“Ghanaians are slow to react, but if they grow frustrated, they will hold you accountable,” Mahama said. “This government will demand hard work and dedication. If you’re not ready to work tirelessly for Ghana, then the private sector may be the right place for you.”
