A Level 400 student from the Gambaga College of Education in Ghana’s North East Region has been shot dead by unidentified gunmen.

The incident, which occurred outside the school’s campus fence, has led to the suspension of classes at the college on 13th March. Authorities confirmed that the student was found with suspected gunshot wounds.

While the motive for the attack remains unclear, local sources suggest it may be connected to the ongoing violence in the Bawku area. The police have been notified, and the Gambaga Chief Palace has called the school’s principal for further discussions on the matter.
