The stage is set for Ghana’s Black Stars as head coach Otto Addo unveils his squad for this month’s all-important FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

The team will face Chad at the Accra Sports Stadium on March 21 before locking horns with Madagascar in Morocco on March 24.

In a surprising twist, longtime captain Andre Dede Ayew has been left out of the squad, marking a major talking point ahead of the fixtures.

The Black Stars will assemble in Accra on Monday, March 17, for a four-day training camp before their home clash with Chad.

Otto Addo has also included three home-based talents: Hearts of Oak’s goalkeeper Benjamin Asare, Nations FC’s Razak Simpson, and Medeama SC’s Kamaradini Mamadu.
