The Constitution Review Committee (CRC) has unveiled plans to livestream its upcoming stakeholder engagements, a move designed to bolster transparency and increase public participation in the ongoing review of Ghana’s constitution. The series of discussions, scheduled to take place between March 18 and April 5, 2025, will cover critical areas identified for reform.
Each session, beginning at 10:00 AM daily, will focus on specific constitutional topics, including but not limited to Lands and Natural Resources (March 18-19), Decentralization, Local Government, and Chieftaincy (March 20-21), Public Services & State Enterprises (March 24), and the Judiciary (April 2-3). Other key areas such as Political Parties, the Executive and Legislature, and Independent Constitutional Bodies will also be addressed.
The livestreams will be available via the CRC’s official social media platforms (@CRCGH25 on YouTube and Facebook), enabling the public to engage directly with the discussions. In addition, the Committee has called on citizens to submit their feedback through email (submissions@constitutionreviewgh.org), the official website, or in person at the CRC Secretariat in Accra.
The CRC’s initiative reflects a broader commitment to inclusivity and public consultation in shaping Ghana’s constitutional future.
