The Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakohene, has announced plans to improve vehicular access in the Adum PZ area, which was unaffected by the recent fire at Adum Blue Light.

The initiative aims to enhance traffic flow and prevent unauthorized activities, following the blaze that struck the area on Friday, March 21.

The fire, which caused significant damage to several shops, prompted a swift response from the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS), who worked to contain and extinguish the flames. In response, the Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council (ARCC) has outlined plans to improve accessibility and reduce the risk of future fire incidents.

A statement issued by the ARCC on Sunday, March 23, confirmed that security personnel will be deployed to ensure the smooth implementation of these measures. The ARCC has urged the public to cooperate fully with the new guidelines, which will take effect on Monday, March 24.

The regional authority emphasized that these steps are crucial for enhancing community safety and preventing further fire-related incidents. Residents and business owners in the area are encouraged to adhere to the new measures to ensure the safety and security of all.
