GoldBod Jewellery, a subsidiary of the Ghana Gold Board, has announced the appointment of media personality Kwabena Anokye Disi, known professionally as Bola Ray, and award-winning actress Joselyn Dumas as its new brand ambassadors.

The company says the move is part of a wider strategy to promote Ghana’s gold heritage and craftsmanship, showcasing locally made jewellery that meets international standards.

At a ceremony held at GoldBod’s head office in Accra, the company’s Chief Executive Officer, Sammy Gyamfi, described the collaboration as a “landmark initiative” aimed at celebrating Ghanaian innovation in luxury design.

“Bola Ray and Joselyn Dumas embody excellence, authenticity, and sophistication — the core values of the GoldBod Jewellery brand,” Mr Gyamfi said. “Their appointment marks a significant milestone in our mission to add value to Ghana’s gold resources and redefine our position in the global luxury market.”

The partnership also supports President Mahama’s vision of transforming Ghana into Africa’s leading centre for authentic gold jewellery and ornaments.

As part of their roles, Bola Ray and Joselyn Dumas will front brand campaigns, engage with the media, and lead public initiatives promoting GoldBod’s latest lines of fine gold and diamond jewellery, bespoke pieces, and luxury accessories.

GoldBod Jewellery says the appointments are intended to strengthen its international appeal while reinforcing Ghana’s reputation for ethical gold production and exceptional artistry.
