Samuel Afotey Otu Honoured as Outstanding Judicial Service Leader at Ghana Leadership Awards

Samuel Afotey Otu, President of the Judicial Service Staff Association of Ghana (JUSAG), has been awarded the “Judicial Service Leader of the Year” at the 16th Ghana Leadership Awards (GLA). The prestigious accolade was presented on Saturday, 9 November 2024, during a ceremony held at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra.

Organisers commended Mr Otu for his “exceptional leadership and longstanding dedication to the rule of law,” describing him as an “epitome of excellence.” The GLA citation further praised his career achievements, noting his commitment, perseverance, and loyalty to the Judicial Service of Ghana, which has set a standard in the legal sector.

The Ghana Leadership Awards, an annual event, honours individuals across various sectors who have shown exemplary leadership and contributed significantly to the development of Ghana and Africa as a whole.
