Inflation in Ghana saw a slight increase in November 2024, reaching 23% compared to 22.1 % in October. This rise was primarily driven by higher prices of certain food items in the market during the past month. The Ghana Statistical Service shared this update at a press conference in Accra on December 4, 2024.

The data revealed that food inflation declined to 25.9 % in November from 28.8 % in October. On the other hand, non-food inflation decreased as well, from 21.5 % in October to 20.7 % in November.

Inflation for locally produced goods experienced an uptick, climbing to 25.4 % in November from 24.6 % in October. Similarly, inflation for imported goods rose to 17.6 % in November compared to 16.3% the previous month.
