Denis Miracle Aboagye, a presidential staffer, has expressed optimism that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is the likely winner of the elections, accusing the National Democratic Congress (NDC) of preparing to incite chaos in the face of defeat.

During a press briefing, Mr. Aboagye stated that “The NPP is winning the elections. The NDC knows by now that they are losing, so they’ll cause any havoc.”

He alleged that the opposition party is acting irresponsibly by urging their supporters to storm collation centers.

Aboagye called for calm and urged the public to trust the electoral process. “They [NDC] are nowhere near victory, and their actions only show desperation,” he added.

As tensions rise, both parties have been urged to prioritize peace and allow the collation process to proceed without disruption.
