President-elect John Dramani Mahama has arrived at Jubilee House to meet with outgoing President Nana Akufo-Addo, marking the start of the transition process following Mahama’s decisive victory in the 2024 presidential elections.

Akufo-Addo congratulated Mahama once again on his win and reiterated his commitment to a peaceful transition of power. The meeting, which took place at the presidential residence, is expected to lay the groundwork for cooperation between the outgoing and incoming administrations.

The transition follows the official declaration of Mahama’s victory by the Electoral Commission.
