The controversy started when Tiwa shared a viral video of herself swimming with sharks during her holiday. In the clip, she expressed that the experience was part of her bucket list, which sparked concern among her followers about her safety.

However, in a follow-up post, Tiwa Savage reassured her fans about the sharks she encountered in the water but shifted the focus to the music industry, stating: “Everyone worried about me swimming with sharks, but the ones in this music industry are way more f**king dangerous.”

Her statement quickly divided opinions online.
