The Appointments Committee of Ghana’s Parliament has rescheduled the vetting of Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, the Member of Parliament for Ellembelle, along with three other regional ministers-designate, for Monday, January 27, 2025.

The vetting will begin at 9:00 AM in Committee Rooms 1 and 2 of the Administration Building in Parliament. The individuals being vetted have been nominated by President John Dramani Mahama to lead key ministries and regions within his administration.

In addition to Armah-Kofi Buah, the nominees include Tia Ibrahim, the Minister-Designate for the North East Region; Dr. Frank Amoakohene, the Minister-Designate for the Ashanti Region; and Akamugri Atanga Donatus, the Minister-Designate for the Upper East Region.

This round of vetting comes as part of President Mahama’s ongoing efforts to finalize his leadership team and strengthen the administration. The process follows the successful approval of several other nominees in earlier sessions, and it is expected to play a pivotal role in shaping the future direction of the government’s leadership structure.

The committee’s review is considered a crucial step in equipping the administration with capable leaders to address the country’s pressing challenges.
