Julius Neequaye Kotey, a seasoned public policy and compliance expert, has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) in Ghana.
Kotey, who brings a wealth of experience in social security and public administration, has previously held roles at both the Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) and DVLA. His leadership is expected to bolster efficiency and regulatory compliance within the country’s transport sector.
A graduate of the University of Ghana, Kotey holds multiple master’s degrees, including an MA in Leadership and Governance from GIMPA and an MSc in Public Policy and Management from the University of Cape Coast. His career includes stints as Acting CEO of DVLA, Compliance Officer at SSNIT, and Driver Inspector at the DVLA.
