Abeiku Santana pledges support to GTA CEO Maame Efua Houadjeto

Renowned media personality and tourism advocate Abeiku Santana has taken on a new role as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA), marking a significant step in the country’s efforts to boost its tourism industry.

Mr. Santana, known for his dedication to promoting Ghana’s cultural heritage, paid an official visit to his CEO, Mrs. Maame Efua Houadjeto, to express his commitment to working together in advancing the nation’s tourism sector. He highlighted Houadjeto’s expertise in tourism, international trade shows, and hospitality as key to the success of the sector, praising her leadership.

“I am strongly convinced that her vast expertise will significantly enhance and transform our tourism sector, aligning with the vision of our President, H.E. John Dramani Mahama,” Santana said, emphasizing the collaborative approach needed to achieve the country’s tourism goals.

Abeiku Santana has long been a vocal advocate for Ghana’s tourism, using his media platform to promote the country’s vibrant festivals and growing hospitality industry. Now, in his new capacity, he aims to bring fresh energy, innovative initiatives, and strategic partnerships to further elevate Ghana’s tourism profile.
