A&C Mall in East Legon has confirmed that a solar panel structure in its parking lot collapsed during heavy rains, resulting in damage to more than 80 vehicles.

In a statement, A&C Development attributed the incident to adverse weather conditions but assured the public that immediate steps were being taken to address the situation. The company also confirmed that, fortunately, no injuries were reported.

“We deeply regret the incident and are working with the relevant authorities to resolve the issue swiftly,” the statement said. “Our team is on-site to manage the situation and ensure a prompt resolution.”

A&C Development apologised for the inconvenience caused and reiterated its commitment to ensuring the safety of all visitors. “Your safety remains our top priority,” the company stated, promising regular updates as they continue to address the aftermath of the incident.
