Accra Conference Center Shuts Down for Renovation Work

Ghana’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said Friday it has temporarily closed the Accra International Conference Centre to undertake planned renovations aimed at improving safety standards and ensuring the facility’s long-term reliability.


In a statement dated March 27, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ghana said the shutdown takes immediate effect, with a reopening timeline to be announced later. Officials apologized for the disruption and directed inquiries to a dedicated contact line, +233 244 452 852 for further information.


The ministry said the works form part of a broader effort to maintain service quality and upgrade public infrastructure.
