Adabraka Robbery: Getaway Vehicle Tracked to Ashaiman, Police Intensify Manhunt

The vehicle used in a daring robbery at Adabraka, Accra, has been identified and tracked by security agencies to Ashaiman in the Greater Accra region.

Security officials released images of the Toyota Highlander, with registration GN 7357-19, showing it leaving the crime scene on Saturday. According to police, the vehicle’s route included stops at the Sunny FM Roundabout, Shiashie, and the Accra Mall area, before continuing through Ashaiman’s Zenu area.

The robbery, which took place on Saturday, targeted a jewelry store in the busy Adabraka market area. Four armed men, wearing masks, attacked a man in a red Toyota Corolla, injuring him in the process.

In a statement, the police announced an intensified manhunt for the gang responsible, assuring the public that those involved would be “brought to justice.”
