The Agricultural Development Bank PLC (ADB) has strongly refuted allegations made against the institution and its Deputy Managing Director, Eno Ofori-Atta, describing the claims as unfounded and defamatory.

In a statement, the Bank dismissed the accusations, reaffirming its commitment to professionalism, transparency, and adherence to all regulatory standards.

According to ADB, the allegations appear to stem from the recent dismissal of certain employees, a decision taken during a regularly scheduled meeting of the Board of Directors. The Bank assured the public that all its actions strictly comply with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.

The statement also commended Mrs. Eno Ofori-Atta for her outstanding professionalism and significant contributions since assuming her position. It highlighted her unwavering dedication to integrity and diligence, which align with the Bank’s operational values.

The Bank emphasized its focus on driving economic development through agricultural and other growth-oriented initiatives and urged the public to disregard the baseless claims, labeling them as malicious efforts to damage its reputation.

“ADB is resolutely committed to its mission and will not be sidetracked by unsubstantiated allegations,” the statement read. The Bank also warned that it would take legal action against any individuals or groups spreading false information.

Finally, ADB called on stakeholders to treat the rumors with the contempt they deserve, reiterating its dedication to promoting economic growth and maintaining the trust of its clients and partners.
