The 8th Parliament of the Fourth Republic will officially dissolve on Monday, January 6, 2025, with the 9th Parliament convening later that day at 11:00 PM to elect a new Speaker and two Deputy Speakers. The Speaker-elect and newly elected Members of Parliament will take their oaths at midnight, marking the start of the next legislative session.
