SoFrank Annor-Dompreh, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate for Nsawam-Adoagyiri, refused to accept a court injunction served on him by a bailiff regarding the re-collation of election results in the constituency.

The incident, captured on video by TV3, shows Annor-Dompreh, who is also the incumbent Member of Parliament for Nsawam-Adoagyiri, walking away as the bailiff attempted to hand him the injunction. “If you are doing your job, do your job,” he was heard saying as he declined to accept the document.

The injunction, secured by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) on December 13, was intended to halt the ongoing re-collation of the constituency’s election results, which had been marred by discrepancies in the pink sheets. The re-collation, which began on December 12 at the Tesano Police Depot, had been delayed and was scheduled to resume on December 13.

The legal action adds to the ongoing dispute over the election results in Nsawam-Adoagyiri, with tensions rising between the NDC and the NPP over alleged inconsistencies in the initial collation.
