Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin, has assured Ghana’s youth that the country is on the right path and the future remains bright.

In a Christmas message on December 24, 2024, Bagbin acknowledged the challenges Ghana has faced but emphasized that the nation continues to inspire other African countries.

“To the youth, the future is bright. Ghana is on the right path. We remain the beacon of hope, a symbol of democracy, and a nation that other African countries look up to,” he said. “We may have faced setbacks, but Ghana is still seen as a pillar for the black race, particularly for maintaining a multiparty democracy for 32 years.”

Bagbin also expressed gratitude for the recognition Ghana continues to receive from other nations, describing it as a source of national pride.

In conclusion, he extended his Christmas and New Year wishes to all Ghanaians, praying for continued blessings and strength for the nation. “May the good Lord bless us all and keep our nation greater and stronger,” he added.
