Ghanaian music sensation Black Sherif has released his first single of the year, Lord I Am Amazed, on the occasion of his birthday and shortly after his sold-out concert in Accra. The song, which blends gospel-inspired melodies with raw, introspective lyricism, marks a soulful start to 2025.

Teased on Black Sherif’s Instagram last November, the highly-anticipated track officially dropped today. Known for his powerful storytelling and emotive delivery, the artist explores themes of faith, resilience, and personal growth in Lord I Am Amazed.

Describing the song, Black Sherif said, “This song is not just music; it’s my prayer, my gratitude, and my testimony wrapped in melody. I want every listener to feel the same awe and gratitude I feel every day.”

With its rich harmonies and moving chord progression, Lord I Am Amazed is expected to resonate deeply with fans, transcending genres and speaking to the heart. The song is now available on all major streaming platforms.

The release follows Black Sherif’s monumental success at his Zaama Disco concert in December, where 23,000 fans gathered for an electrifying performance. Riding high on the success of his debut album The Villain I Never Was, the artist is now gearing up for his upcoming sophomore project, Iron Boy. This album promises to explore deeper themes of perseverance and growth, continuing the raw energy and authenticity that has made Black Sherif a prominent figure in African music.
