The Black Stars have arrived in Luanda, Angola, for a critical 2025 AFCON qualifier on Friday, where a victory is crucial to keeping Ghana’s qualification hopes alive. The team, under pressure to secure a win, completed three intensive training sessions in Accra before departing on Wednesday. Tonight, they are set to hold an official practice at 8 p.m. local time at the Estadio 11 de Novembro, fine-tuning their strategy for the high-stakes encounter.

Currently, Ghana sits third in Group F with just two points from four games, trailing both Angola and Sudan. Angola, dominating the group with a perfect 12-point record, leads the way, leaving Ghana little room for error if they wish to avoid missing out on the AFCON tournament for the first time since 2004. The next edition of the tournament will take place in Morocco, adding further weight to Friday’s match for the Black Stars.
