Bright W. Ladzekpo has been honored for his exemplary leadership, resilience, and outstanding corporate management at the 7th Ghana Industry CEO Awards, held at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra. The annual event, organized by Business Executive Magazine, celebrates top Chief Executives across Ghana’s public and private sectors.
In presenting the award, former Metro TV CEO Fadi Fattal lauded Ladzekpo on behalf of the organizers. The citation praised his “exceptional leadership,” highlighting how his innovative strategies have successfully combined industry growth and effective corporate management to drive economic transformation.
As a seasoned marketing communications professional, Bright Ladzekpo is well-known for advocating data-driven strategies, marketing science principles, and international best practices. He has championed these approaches across various sectors, including MSMEs, startups, non-profits, and governments in Africa. A thought leader in his field, he is deeply committed to tracking technological advancements and leveraging them for organizational growth. His efforts center on capability building, digital transformation, and the adoption of platform business models to boost efficiency and profitability.
Ladzekpo has spoken extensively on artificial intelligence (AI), showcasing its disruptive potential in reshaping traditional industries. In 2015, he led the African launch of the thought leadership publication Sentience: The Coming AI Revolution and Its Implications for Marketing in Accra. A year later, he delivered a TEDxAccra talk on “The Future of Artificial Intelligence.” In 2018, he continued this advocacy at the launch of Merge: The Closing Gap Between Technology and Us, where he discussed the integration of AI, data, and digital technologies.
More recently, his focus has shifted toward closing diversity gaps in space technology and exploration. Through his family’s soon-to-be-launched Africa Aerospace Initiative, Ladzekpo aims to promote STEM education and international collaboration in space-related fields.
In addition to his corporate achievements, Ladzekpo has been an active member of the Executive Council of the Advertising Association of Ghana (AAG) for three consecutive terms. He has also served on Ghana’s Food and Drug Authority’s Advertisement Regulation Committee and the International Advertising Association’s Africa Rising Committee.
