The Electoral Commission (EC) of Ghana has reported a shortfall in the presidential and parliamentary ballot papers for several constituencies in the Volta Region, including Keta, Ketu North, Ho Central, Hohoe, and Ho West.

In a communication to the representatives of all presidential candidates, the EC outlined plans to rectify the issue by printing additional ballot papers at Acts Commercials Printing House. Political parties and independent presidential candidates have been asked to send two representatives each to observe the printing process, scheduled for Friday, 29 November, at 10:00 AM in Accra.

Samuel Tettey, the EC’s Deputy Chairman of Operations, reassured the public of the Commission’s commitment to maintaining transparency and ensuring the integrity of the election process. He stressed that efforts are underway to resolve the shortfall swiftly and ensure a smooth and credible election.
