Fiifi Fiavi Kwetey, the General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has described the administration of President Akufo-Addo as a “mistake.”

Speaking to the media, Kwetey criticised the outgoing government, claiming its policies and leadership have failed to meet the needs of the Ghanaian people.

His comments come as the NDC prepares for a potential transition under President-elect John Mahama following the 2024 elections. Kwetey’s remarks reflect the party’s dissatisfaction with the Akufo-Addo administration and its readiness for a change in leadership.
