Former Vice President Bawumia Performs Umrah in Mecca

Ghana’s former Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has arrived in Mecca with his wife, Hajia Samira Bawumia, and a close entourage to undertake Umrah, the Islamic pilgrimage to the holy city.

Dr. Bawumia stated that the journey is a gesture of gratitude to Allah for His blessings and grace. Alongside his wife and friends, the pilgrimage also serves as a moment for prayer, seeking continued guidance and protection for themselves and for the nation of Ghana.

The spiritual journey highlights Dr. Bawumia’s strong faith and his commitment to seeking divine favour for the country’s future.
