Four Arrested Over Fatal Shooting in Awutu Senya East

The Ghana Police Service has arrested four individuals in connection with a fatal shooting at the Iron City office in Kasoa, located within the Awutu Senya East Constituency in the Central Region.

The incident resulted in one death and left another person injured. The suspects, identified as Awudu Yakubum, Kwabena Essah, Hakeem Bawa, and Issaka Mashual, are currently in police custody and assisting with ongoing investigations.

Authorities recovered an AK47 rifle along with 69 rounds of ammunition from the suspects. The injured victim is receiving treatment, while the deceased’s body has been sent to the morgue for autopsy and preservation.
