Ghana 2024 Elections: Eager Voters Queue Early to Shape the Nation’s Future

In a display of patriotism and democratic zeal, Ghanaians flocked to polling stations at dawn today, determined to make their voices heard in the country’s much-anticipated general elections. Long queues formed as citizens, some arriving as early as 4 a.m., braved the morning chill to secure their spots in line.

Across urban centers and rural villages alike, the atmosphere was one of unity and determination. First-time voters, seasoned citizens, and even the elderly came out in droves, signaling a strong commitment to shaping the nation’s future.

Voting starts at around 7 a.m., but voters and Electoral Commission officials were seen in the early hours of the day preparing and waiting patiently to ensure a smooth voting process.
