Coach of Hearts of Oak, Abubakar Ouattara, has expressed disappointment after his team’s three-game winning streak came to an end with a goalless draw against Samartex.

The result leaves the Phobians trailing rivals Asante Kotoko by two points, sitting in sixth place on the league table.

Speaking during the post-match interview, Ouattara acknowledged that his side failed to capitalize on their opportunities to secure a win.

“We wanted to win today, but unfortunately, we didn’t score. We didn’t create enough chances; we managed only one or two. Unfortunately, we didn’t play well enough to score,” he said.

Ouattara also praised Samartex goalkeeper Kofi Baah for his impressive performance, which denied Hearts of Oak key scoring opportunities.

“I think the goalkeeper of Samartex did well, especially with one or two crucial saves, particularly the last one,” he added.
