Ghanaian Politician Akua Donkor Passes On

Akua Donkor, founder and leader of Ghana’s Freedom Party, has died.

Her eldest son, Nana Kwesi Baffour, confirmed her death to Citi News on Tuesday, October 29, stating that she passed away on Monday night at Ridge Hospital following a brief illness.

Donkor, known for her outspoken nature and unconventional approach to politics, was a prominent figure in Ghanaian political circles. She leaves behind a legacy of resilience and distinctive style in her advocacy for change in Ghana.
