Rev. Victor Kusi-Boateng, also known as Kwabena Adu Gyamfi, has denied reports suggesting he was arrested by the National Investigations Bureau (NIB).

Addressing his congregation on Friday evening, Kusi-Boateng clarified that he was only invited for questioning regarding the National Cathedral project after returning to Ghana from a short trip. His comments came in response to a report by Citi News on March 14, which erroneously claimed that he had been arrested and detained by the NIB.

In a statement delivered in Twi, the prominent pastor insisted, “I have not been arrested, and no one can arrest me because I have done nothing that would warrant an arrest.”

Rwv. Kusi-Boateng reassured his followers of his continued dedication to his mission, describing the current year as “a year of grace” and emphasizing that he remains focused on his work.

The invitation for questioning, Kusi-Boateng explained, was related to his involvement in the National Cathedral project, which has not progressed beyond its foundation stage. He maintained his innocence and urged his congregation to stay committed to their faith in him.
