Dr. Hassan Ayariga, leader of the All People’s Congress(APC), has expressed confidence in his party’s ability to win the upcoming December 7 elections.

Addressing the media barely 24 hours to the elections,Mr.Ayariga declared, ” If I don’t win the 2024 elections, then nobody will win,” suggesting a possible run-off in a tightly contested race.

Mr.Ayariga criticised the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for failing to address Ghana’s persistent economic challenges, urging voters to embrace the APC as a transformative third force.

Dr. Ayariga unveiled a comprehensive agenda centred on seven key policy pillars: nationalization, industrialization, globalization, modernization, domestication, commercialization, and digitalization.

According to Mr.Ayariga, these strategies aim towards modernizing Ghana’s economy, boost industrial output, and improve livelihoods through initiatives such as reviving collapsed factories, enhancing agricultural practices, and introducing price control systems to stabilize essential goods.

Dr. Hassan also called for political inclusivity, proposing an end to the “winner-takes-all” governance model, and emphasized empowering local businesses with tax incentives.
