I am sorry because I know how it feels and how Ghanaians are hurt. I am so sorry,” he said. The statement marked a shift in tone from his earlier defensive stance.
The loss has prompted questions about Addo’s future as head coach. The Ghana Football Association’s Executive Council is set to meet on Wednesday to review the team’s performance and decide on the way forward.
