Ghanaian musician Kofi Kinaata has dismissed rumours of a feud with reggae/dancehall artist Ras Kuuku, following claims of tension between the two. In an interview on Daybreak Hitz with Andy Dosty, Kinaata addressed questions about the absence of Ras Kuuku from his upcoming Made in T’adi concert.

Kinaata explained that the decision not to feature Ras Kuuku was not personal, stating that several artists were not included in the concert, which is set for December 21, 2024, at the Takoradi Sports Club. “I don’t have any problems with Ras Kuuku. If you check the fliers on my page, you’ll see that most artistes are not listed,” he said.

The controversy stemmed from Ras Kuuku’s earlier comments, claiming that Kinaata had removed him from the song Effiakuma Love after initially requesting his contribution. Ras Kuuku expressed frustration over the alleged lack of communication from Kinaata’s management regarding the change.

Kinaata had previously explained that he was not directly involved in the negotiations and was unaware of the specifics until after the decision was made.

Kinaata’s Made in T’adi concert will feature artists such as Samini, Donzi, Dhope Nation, Kwesi Flex, and Kwesi Amenuga, among others.
