As 2024 nears its end, multiple-award-winning hypeman, MC, and on-air personality Kojo Manuel (Emmanuel Kojo Kusi Nyantakyi) has already made a significant impact this year.

Currently hosting DrYve on Y 107.9 FM, Kojo Manuel has established himself as one of the most recognizable voices on radio. In addition to his radio show, he has hosted the game show Play by Ear on Akwaaba Magic and produces content for his podcast and YouTube channel, The Mile 7 Podcast and A Mad Culture.

Kojo has also maintained his dominance in the hypeman sector, headlining major events such as Tidal Rave, Guinness Accravaganza, and Coke Foodie Connect. He has been named the headline MC for the upcoming international festival, AfroFuture.

This year, he collaborated with DJ Loft to present two editions of Cup and Bass live sessions and hosted events like CasaLoco (a Halloween party at MAD Club) and Play House at Stanbic Heights, a DJ exhibition.

In recognition of his contributions, Kojo Manuel was awarded “Best MC/Hypeman” at both the Ghana Entertainment Awards and the Ghana DJ Awards, marking his third consecutive win at the GEA and fourth at the Ghana DJ Awards. He also took home the award for “Best Mixtape” alongside DJ Loft for Cup and Bass.

As an artist, he released a single titled “Asem,” featuring E.L., further showcasing his versatility.

With the festive season of Detty December approaching, Kojo Manuel is poised to play an integral role in the celebrations, using his talents to keep the party alive.
