President John Dramani Mahama has appointed Anatu Anne Seidu Bogobiri, a seasoned legal professional with more than 26 years of experience, as the new Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA).

A distinguished lawyer, Bogobiri began her career with the Value Added Tax (VAT) Service and later moved through the ranks at the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA), where she served in its Legal Department. Her extensive legal background is complemented by significant involvement in electoral and organizational leadership.

Her leadership credentials also extend to labour advocacy, where she served as the Divisional Union Vice Chairperson of the Public Services Workers Union (PSWU).
