Mahama attends Paris Peace Forum

President John Mahama arrived in France on Wednesday to participate in the 8th Edition of the Paris Peace Forum, scheduled for October 29–30, 2025, according to a statement from the presidency.

The forum, which brings together heads of state, business leaders, and civil society representatives, focuses on global governance, peace, and sustainable development. Mr. Mahama is expected to engage in discussions on regional stability and Africa’s role in international cooperation.

After the Paris meetings, the president will travel to Cairo at the invitation of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi to attend the official opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum on November 1, 2025.

Mr. Mahama is scheduled to return to Ghana on November 2, 2025, following the conclusion of his international engagements.
