John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of Ghana’s opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), is launching a five-day campaign tour of the Eastern Region starting today, 18 November.

The former president is expected to visit all 33 constituencies in the region, engaging with local communities and addressing mini-rallies as part of efforts to connect with voters.

The campaign will commence at the Nsawam Lorry Station in the Nsawam Adoagyiri constituency, where Mr Mahama will meet residents and promote the NDC’s vision for a 24-hour economy.

The tour is aimed at drumming up support for the party’s bid to unseat the current government in next month’s general elections.
