President John Dramani Mahama has declared that Ghana is no longer a sanctuary for corruption, urging all sectors of society to unite in the fight against corruption.

Speaking after receiving a report from the Operation Recover All Loots (ORAL) team on Monday, Mahama made it clear that the government would stand firmly with those advocating for accountability. The report, which highlights corruption and mismanagement of state assets under the previous administration of former President Akufo-Addo, details efforts to recover looted state resources.

“For those who think they can defraud the state and escape justice, let this serve as a strong warning: Ghana is no longer a safe haven for corruption,” Mahama warned.

He reassured those committed to integrity and the rule of law, saying the current government remains a steadfast partner in building a nation that rewards honesty and hard work.

Mahama also emphasized the importance of collective action in addressing corruption, calling on citizens, civil society, the media, and public officials to work together to ensure a just, transparent, and prosperous Ghana for future generations. “Together, we will build a Ghana that is just, transparent, and prosperous for generations to come,” he added.
