President John Dramani Mahama has voiced strong support for his administration’s ability to manage Ghana’s ongoing economic crisis, citing his team’s youth, talent, and determination to lead the country toward recovery.

During a visit to the Gbewaa Palace in Yendi, Mahama reassured the Overlord of Dagbon, Yaa Naa Abubakari Mahama II, that his government is fully committed to addressing the nation’s pressing economic issues.

Acknowledging the challenges facing the country, Mahama underscored his confidence in his team’s competence and dedication to overcoming the difficulties. He noted that while political campaigns and winning elections may seem like the easier part of leadership, the real challenge lies in fulfilling promises and addressing the economic hardships that have deeply affected the Ghanaian people.

“Campaigns and elections are easy; the harder task is how to meet the challenges that lie ahead, particularly in light of the severe economic crisis we are experiencing,” President Mahama remarked. “The real test is how we work to meet the expectations of Ghanaians and alleviate the hardships they are facing.”

Mr.Mahama emphasized that despite the daunting nature of the task, his administration is equipped with a team of young, talented officials capable of guiding the nation through its current economic turmoil. His confidence signals a commitment to comprehensive economic reform, as his government seeks to stabilize and grow the economy amid mounting pressures.
