President John Dramani Mahama is set to deliver his maiden State of the Nation Address today, Thursday, February 27, in a highly anticipated speech that promises to outline his administration’s vision for Ghana’s future.

As Ghanaians eagerly await his remarks, all eyes will be on the president as he discusses his government’s key policies, economic strategies, and priorities for governance. The address is expected to tackle some of the country’s most pressing challenges, including economic stability, job creation, infrastructure development, and national unity.

In the lead-up to the speech, stakeholders such as the Trades Union Congress (TUC) and business leaders have made their expectations clear. They are calling for tangible actions to address the rising cost of living, unemployment, and wage disparities. The president’s comments will likely provide insight into how his government plans to manage these challenges.

The speech will also shine a light on Mahama’s so-called “resetting agenda”  a roadmap for revitalizing key sectors of the economy. This address comes at a crucial time, as Ghana navigates a period of economic uncertainty and strives for solutions to its social challenges.

With the speech set to be delivered before Parliament, the nation is bracing for reactions from both the political and business communities, as the government works to steer the country through these turbulent times.
