Martin Adjei Mensah Korsah Retains Techiman South Seat After Re-Collation

Martin Adjei Mensah Korsah of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has successfully retained his parliamentary seat for Techiman South following a court-ordered re-collation of election results at the Electoral Commission’s (EC) regional office in Accra.

The re-collation was prompted by disputes over the initial election results for the constituency, which had become a source of controversy during the 2024 polls. Allegations of irregularities led to a court order for a thorough review to ensure fairness and transparency in the process.

Under tight security, the re-collation confirmed Korsah’s victory with 46,663 votes, ahead of his nearest rival, Christopher Beyere Baasongti of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), who received 43,429
