Emmanuel Nii Ashie Moore, the Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has called on party members to ignore a letter circulating within the party that requests constituencies to submit nominees for national appointments.

In a statement released on December 25, Moore said he was unaware of any such directive from the party’s leadership. He stressed that the regional executive committee had not been consulted, nor had it approved the request.

Moore described the letter as the “sole decision” of the Regional Secretary, made without reference to the party’s established structures. He urged members to treat the letter with the seriousness it deserves and disregard it entirely.

The NDC leader also reassured party members that the transition team of the President-Elect is working effectively to ensure a smooth handover, with a focus on implementing the top 10 priority policies within the first 120 days of the new administration.
