The Ghanaian Ministry of Education has released school placement results for the 2024/25 academic year, enabling thousands of students to confirm their admissions to Senior High Schools and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions.

Of the 563,339 results processed by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), 553,155 candidates were deemed eligible for placement. Among these, 447,698 students – approximately 80.93% of the qualified group – received automatic admission to one of their chosen schools.

However, a significant number of candidates were left without a match in their preferred schools. Roughly 104,918 eligible students were not placed automatically. The Ministry has advised these students to utilize the Self-Placement platform to choose from schools with available slots.

To check placements, students can visit the official CSSPS website at https://www.cssps.gov.gh or https://www.cssps.org. By entering their ten-digit index number followed by their year of completion, students can view their assigned schools.

For further support, the Ministry has set up a National Solution Centre at GNAT Hall in Accra and established 16 regional solution centers. Additionally, a helpline (0308258001) is available to answer any placement-related inquiries.
