The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has announced that it will hold its final campaign rally on December 5, 2024, in Accra, as it wraps up preparations for the upcoming national elections.

Dubbed the Possibilities Victory Rally, the event will take place at the UG Sports Directorate Park, opposite the University of Ghana Sports Stadium. It is expected to feature top party leaders, including President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, NPP flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, former President John Agyekum Kufuor, and running mate Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh.

Henry Nana Boakye, the NPP’s National Organiser, extended an invitation to party members, supporters, and the public, calling the rally “a historic programme,” which will be broadcast live across various media platforms.

The rally comes as both major political parties prepare for a high-stakes conclusion to the election campaign. Coincidentally, the National Democratic Congress (NDC), led by flagbearer John Dramani Mahama, has also scheduled its final rally for the same day, setting the stage for a dramatic climax to the election season.

With just a few days to go before the December 7 polls, both parties will seek to energise their bases and sway undecided voters, making the rallies critical in shaping the outcome of what is expected to be one of Ghana’s most closely contested elections.
