Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has expressed unwavering confidence in the party’s success in the upcoming December elections.

Speaking at the NPP flagbearer Dr Mahamudu Bawumia’s campaign rally at Bosome Freho on Saturday, Wontumi declared, “We will win the December polls. We are winning on the first try, with no rerun. On December 7th, victory is on our side. We are winning!”

His remarks come as the NPP intensifies its campaign efforts, rallying supporters around the party’s presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

He emphasised that the party is poised for a decisive victory, asserting that Bawumia will be the next president of the Republic of Ghana.

Dr Bawumia also emphasised that the Free SHS policy was introduced to assist the less privileged.

During his campaign in the Asante Akim Central constituency, Dr Bawumia highlighted that the policy was designed to break down educational barriers for society’s disadvantaged.

At Bosome Freho, he promised constituents that “I know your biggest challenge is road infrastructure. I promise to fix all deplorable roads when I am elected. So, I urge you to give me the mandate.”
