Old Vandals Congratulate Mahama on Projected 2024 Election Victory

The Commonwealth Alumni of the University of Ghana, widely known as the Old Vandals, have congratulated John Dramani Mahama following his projected victory in the 2024 general election.

In a statement, the alumni group expressed their celebration of Mahama’s success, calling it a “momentous and resounding victory” for both him and the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

“On this significant occasion, we extend heartfelt congratulations to H.E. Vandal John Dramani Mahama and the entire NDC family, offering our vandalistic, warm, and inspiring felicitations,” the statement read.

The group described the win as a sign of “divine timing” and expressed confidence in Mahama’s ability to meet the challenges ahead.

“The Almighty God is Great. He does things in His own ways and His own time. While we acknowledge the tough tasks ahead, we are confident in your ability to bring about change in due course,” the alumni added.

The Old Vandals also pledged their full support to the president-elect, stressing their readiness to contribute to the nation’s progress. “We are prepared to support you to the fullest. Your success is ours, and ours is yours,” the group assured Mahama.

The endorsement underscores the unity and optimism within the alumni community as they look ahead to Mahama
