Parliament has approved three ministerial nominees: Haruna Iddrisu as Minister-designate for Education, Kwame Governs Agbodza as Minister-designate for Roads and Highways, and Eric Opoku as Minister-designate for Food and Agriculture.

The Appointments Committee conducted an extensive vetting process, reviewing the nominees’ qualifications, experience, and plans for their respective ministries. After thorough assessments, the committee unanimously recommended their confirmation.

In a plenary session chaired by Second Deputy Speaker Andrew Asiamah, Parliament engaged in detailed deliberations before voting in favor of the nominees. The approval paves the way for Iddrisu, Agbodza, and Opoku to take on their new roles and contribute to the government’s development agenda.
