Ghana’s President John Dramani Mahama has arrived in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, to take part in the 2025 Africa CEO Forum, a leading event that brings together political and business leaders from across the continent.

The President touched down at Félix-Houphouët-Boigny International Airport on Monday, 12 May, accompanied by key members of his team, including Secretary to the President Dr Callistus Mahama, economic adviser Seth Terkper, and Deputy Chief of Staff Stan Dogbe.

On Tuesday, President Mahama is expected to participate in a high-level discussion focusing on Ghana’s energy strategy. The session will examine the country’s efforts to balance the use of traditional oil resources with a growing investment in renewables, as part of its wider economic transformation agenda.

The Africa CEO Forum, running from 12 to 13 May, brings together CEOs, policymakers and investors from across Africa and beyond. It aims to foster collaboration, influence policy, and promote sustainable growth on the continent.
